Special incentive Package scheme for incentives in Gujarat state is initiated by Industries Commissionrate. Gujarat is one among the leading industrial states. Thus, Government of Gujarat has announced this Gujarat package scheme of incentives with the objective of creating a healthy climate for conducting business and thereby enhancing industrial development of the state. This Incentive Policy is framed to create employment and establish a roadmap for improving the state's ability to facilitate business. This incentive scheme is framed to promote entrepreneurship in Gujarat state.

About The PSI Scheme

The Gujarat Government incentive scheme includes the following:-

Assistance of capital and Interest Subsidy For MSMEs (except service enterprise)

1. i. Capital Investment subsidy for Manufacturing Enterprises
2. • In Municipal Corporation Areas - Subsidy at 10% of term loan amount disbursed by the bank or financial institute with maximum amount of 15 lakhs.
   • Area Outside Municipal Corporation Limit - Subsidy at 15% of term loan amount disbursed by the bank or financial Institution maximum amount of 25 lakhs.
3. ii. Interest Subsidy for Manufacturing Enterprises

Assistance for reimbursement of CGTMSE fees for Micro and Small enterprises

Assistance as reimbursement at 100% annual service fees paid to Bank/Financial institution for collateral free term loan under CGTMSE, for the period of five year.

Assistance in rent to MSEs

The assistance at 50% of rent paid or 50,000/- P.A, whichever is less in Municipal Corporation and under the Urban Development Authority, it is at 50% of rent paid or 25,000/- P.A, whichever is less.

Schemes for Assistance Labour Intensive Industries

• Interest Subsidy :7% maximum upto  1 crore per annum for period of 5 years
• VAT related incentives: Only 70% of eligible fixed capital investment of eligible unit will be considered for reimbursement. The eligible unit shall be entitled for reimbursement up to 1/5th of eligible limit in a particular year.

Scheme for Financial Assistance to Plastic Industry

Interest subsidy for New Enterprises:- Interest subsidy up to 7% of term loan maximum limit of 100 lakh per annum, for 5 years for fixed capital investment in building, new plant & machinery, equipment,etc.

• VAT Related Incentive to New Enterprises:- The new enterprise will be reimbursed 80% of the net VAT for 5 years.

Eligibility for SIP Scheme

• Eligibility of Applicants
Any individual/group of individuals having innovative idea/Concept will be eligible.

• Eligibility for Institutions
Universities/education institutions, Incubation Centre/PSUs/R&D Institutions/Private and other establishments will be eligible as an institution to support and mentor to innovators as approved by Committee.
