In Marketing Development Assistance - MDA Scheme, financial assistance is provided by MOC through EPCs and trade promotion organizations to exporters having an annual export turnover up to Rs. 30 Cr to participate in trade fairs, buyer-seller meets abroad or in India, export promotion seminars in form of travel grants to travel to focus areas.
Upon achieving set export performance, status recognition as a one-star export house to five-star export house is accorded to the eligible applicants as per their export performance for export promotion scheme. These Status Holders are then eligible for various non-fiscal privileges as prescribed in the Foreign Trade Policy.
